Like Jar-Jar was designed to get the kiddies involved and hooked on the first 3 movies, so the NGE is trying to pull in the kiddie and console population into SWG.

Biggest issue with that: Attention span of the console kiddies is about 60 days...max. They will grind the heck out of this even more then the power gamers do, hit the content wall, and drop. Then the loyal vets will be left with a POS first person shooter that they never wanted in the first place, and the sole purpose for this Cartoon Network version of SWG will be gone, and the game will die.

Great job thumbing your nose at the vets SOE, especially thr jedi. Can't think of any MMORPG game anywhere that would screw its player population more. Thing I cannot figure out is why do it iin the fashion you did. The vet population has stuck with this game through thick and thin.... judging by SOE's response, maybe that was our fault.

A change of this magnitude, where the underlying mechanics and class balances have been completely scrapped and redone, has never been undertaken on a live MMOG like this.

Yeah. That's like saying "no doctor has ever performed brain surgery on himself without anesthetic". Some frontiers simply aren't meant to be explored, seriously.

They are just working their way to a "MMORPG" version of lego starwars
