Thread: How can they say that they are making these changes based on what the community wants?

Every experience I've had with the NGE in regular TC and TC Corbantis has been completly horrible.
Every post I read on either the Jedi or the NGE Jedi forums is negetive and completely bashing SOE and everyone that works there.
Most of the long time players, especially jedi, like myself will probably leave the game very shortly due to these changes. Our once elite profession is nothing but a gimped melee class with a glowing wiffel ball bat for a weapon.
And this is is SOE's explaination "Over the past year we have been working hard to respond to feedback we have gotten from players, fans, focus groups, and other research." Thanks for that explaination Julio Torres, not sure what you are smoking, but could you sell me some?
Now I ask all of you, were you ever consulted by SOE for feedback on how do make this game better. I know I wasn't. I was part of the beta testing for this game in back in December 02, and SOE didn't listen to us then. I'm sure those of you that have been around since launch remember how many bugs were inthe game.....well, we tried tomake them delay the launch because of all of the problems, but no one listened, they wanted to start collecting their money no matter what was wrong with the game. I'd like to know who these players, fans, focus groups, and other research are that have been consulted on these "New Game Enhancements.........because they sure arn't true SWG fans.
I am truly disappointed by what is happening to the best game I have ever played. I feel like the 2+ years of my grinding is basically all for nothing now, I've become just another cookie cutter jedi with the same template, and same saber stats.

I'd like them to point it out point by point to me.
I think when they say community what they are referring to is the Lucas Arts and Sony Online Entertainment Employee's and execuitive's Community Pocket Books

yeah id like to see what kind of e-tard asked for these changes
make him create a character on shadowfiyah,and grief him to no end

Well you must be right, because there is absolutely no one that I know or have known in the past that would agree to these changes. It is a complete travesty what is happening to our game.
It's almost like SOE has completely given up and is changing the game so much that they hope everone quits so they can end the game.
