Thread: Hey devs, just flat out tell us if you want us in the game or out.

If I could get that one simple answer from them I would know exactly what to do with my accounts. Its not fair that we get strung along like this month after month. If you are not going to do anything to fix jedi let us know now. There are plenty of real games comming out next month that I could spend my money on...

Kraken, there are many that feel the same way. But I gotta ask, why is it you keep paying for a game you don't enjoy? I'm not meaning to flame, I'm just really curious about the thinking that keeps people playing something they really can't enjoy?

the answer as to why he, and all of us continue to pay for this game is this... because its star wars... its something all of us love and enjoy. the devs, sony, and lucas arts know this and are exploiting us for it. not to mention its not just jedi that messed up, all of the proffessions have their major problems.

also, ToOW is not for us, its to attract and trap more new players in this game so they can make money... this game failed years ago but like most of you i love starwars and i am stuck here, atm i basicly use this game as a fancy chat room.

Don't you feel like a kid that's been given candy laced withurine and you keep going back for more cause you've always liked candy? There are other ways to get a star wars fix that don't keep you paying money. Is it just cause of the name of the game or seriously is it a feeling of achievement that keeps you going, and you're not wanting to give that up?


I read on wikicities.com their review of star wars galaxies and its place in the SW universe. They were updated all the way up to TooW, and they were pretty adamant that this has nothing to do with star wars. You're basically paying for the name on the box.

kyeu hit the nail on the head. Starwars is simply one of the most marketable franchises. SOE doesnt care about not just Jedi, but anyone, take smugglers for an example, or maybe weaponsmiths who are being driven out of the game by ADKs and uber loot and reward weapons.


People like myself bought this game for one reason, star wars. I have never played another MMO, like WOW or everyquest and have no desire to. When i first bought this game 2 years ago right when it launched i looked on the box and saw u could be a jedi, and knew i wanted to be one. I have since got my jedi and seen nerf after nerf. It is sad.


Sony will continue to do whatever they want cuz people will continue to pay. nearly everyone on this jedi fourm does nothing but complain yet we are all still hear. I for one am holding onto that last strand of hope that this game will be fixed. But i have found myself having more fun getting online to chat with friends then actually play.


Kinda messed up when i can download AIM for free, but im paying 15 bucks a month to use an instant messager.

kyeu, you are exactly right. its sort of like your favorite pair of jeans. you have got so much time, money and memories involved that you hate to give up without a fight....but guys, 6 months and the game is the worst for jedi ever...we have done our part and have been patient and waited for fixes that have never come and most likely will never come lived through the lies and pretty much have been mislead from april. But that time frame alot of us gave it, by the end of the year, is approaching very soon. I will guarentee that if jedi suspend their games soe will loose the accounts even though everyone else thats been off for a year or more and returned can start right back up where they left off. They will "loose" them because they dont want them back.

Funny, i was in ToOW beta other night and Rogue5 was forming group to do some high level testing. Guess what provession he was?


Jedi,


THe other professions need their revamps "FIRST". Once smuggler, sl, ranger, commando get fixed, then I expect some tweaks for jedi. Maybe we will see some hotfixes during those revamps. But please quit acting like every one of your needs has to always come first. I'm not specifically directing this to the OP, but to all Jedi in general.


This is what gives jedi a bad name.

Fixing SWG would be so easy.

All SOE would have to do is give the game and its rights to blizzard.
