Thread: Permasnare, Laggy Mustafar, and One Shots OH MY!
It's brutal on Mus if your a Jedi.
I recommend not bothering.
The one place you "have" to go to over and over makes Jabba's throne room seem like Disney Land with all the BH's.
It's lagged to NO END.
You have to do all the regular things to stay alive (except run because you can't snared)
They just get to 1 shot you.
It's like shooting Jedi in a Barrel.

glad i dint get the new expansion yet.....just waiting to see how many things are wrongt with it
So just set your video settings as low as you can to improve performance. Hopefully the lag issue will be addresed so you can turn up your video settings again and see that things look pretty much the same either way on Mustafar, LOL.
Mustafar last night had about 150 people in the spaceport area alone; I was receiving 6kps from the server...multiply that by the number of people in the spaceport area and it's a hefty sum of bandwidth so no wonder it was laggy.
As for the FPS issue, I believe that as mustafar slows down a bit, it will get better. Having to load the textures of 150 players into VRAM and cache would be enough to kill most grfx cards ![]()

I think the one spaceport is ok, i mean lok is that way, but they definetly need to add another place or two to shuttle too.

diference is lok isnt swarmed with people
I fully expect to get attacked on the planet at the worst possible time, but how is that different from any planet other than Kashyyk? One cloner? I'm not sure how that is a problem since you are only there after death. And the BH's are probably lagging as bad as you, assuming a decent machine.
Less places to run is probably the biggest problem. The lava, and particulars of this planet do add some complication to an already challenging situation with BH's. If you care about XP loss, you might want to hold off on taking your Jedi there till things cool off a bit, but it's not that bad, not the instant death trap people are making it out to be.
And for comparisons sake, I'm using a 3Ghz P4, 3Gb RAM and an FX5900 128MB card. RAM is your friend.
