Ok so i tried to grind my paddy up to a high enough level in order to stand a chance with a BH. I am not where I want to be yet.. but getting closer every day. After last night on mustafar.. that is all out the window. I got viz.. like crazy... so my question is... if a BH comes for me, and i choose to fight... then if he kills me.... i know i loose xp.. but do my clothes/items decay as well? just curious.

if you clone and have not insure your items then your cloths will decay yep

aye make sure all your items are insured at all times, think it costs about 3000 to insure all your stuff but it's well worth it as you never know when you'll wind up in the cloner

3000 for everything? and is that planet specific?

i normally pay 1-2k but all depand how much stuff you have in your inv

so if i get them insured.. is that good for any planet? or just the planet that i get them insured on?

When you go to grind, leave anything you don't want to decay in your house. There is no need to be lugging around junk that won't help grind, or won't help fight off a BH. I try and keep less than 30 items on me when grinding. That way if I need to add a stim to my toolbar I am not searching through a bunch of junk to find it.

insurance works on any planet, one your stuff is insured

i always have a quite a bit of stuff on my toon in my backpack so that's why mine's about 3k

only things i have on me that decay is my cloths on me there is no need for any more

rest is food and such

Ok, you are a jedi and don't know how insurance and cloning works? Wow, that speaks volumes about the profession itself. /cry

Anyway, to answer your question. All the items you carry around should be insured to limit the decay on them. A tiny i is placed on the item in your inventory to let you know the item is insured. Upon a pvp death, the insured items will not decay if you clone. In most places if you die a PvE death, you will still have some decay, but less decay than you would if the items are uninsured. I think some exceptions are made in the Mustakashyykk realms, but don't know exactly which areas they are.

no i just got jedi.. and never insured before then.. its pointless in my opinion. I had grinding armor.. and if i grinded usually had a doc. no biggie.. but now i see it is a good thing.. since i have invested credits into CA's.
