It used to be the case that if you attacked an NPC faction member you would get TEF. This allowed other players of a different faction to attack you. This was removed from the game, and I think the GCW has become more fun. Why can't the same be done for Jedi? Non-consentual PvP is little more than institutionalized griefing. It's not fair to my guild mates when we are going on a hunt to expore the wilds of Dathomir and the BH's show up one after the other to attack our Jedi. This spoils thegame for all of us, especially since we can't help our Jedi friends.

Other games ran into this, split the world into two (Felucca and Trammel ring a bell?)and let the players decide where to play, PvP or PvE. WoW build this into the game from the start, AO has zones for PvP and other zones for PvE.

Don't get me wrong, I am not suggesting that PvP be removed from the game. Some people love it, and more power to them. I just think in fairness to everyone, this should be a choice that the player (customer) makes, not something that is forced upon them. Make the Jedi experience something each of us can enjoy based on our play style.
