Thread: Why Did you choose Jedi? (not a flame fest please)
Personally i went jedi because i was tired of being a melee prof, i had no intrest in ranged combat at the time because my true love of ranged combat is Commando and they will never have a true function in this game. I was fencer for quite some time and a very decent one, not the best but i wasn't bad by any means. I had figured if i'm going to be melee i might as well have a glowing t-ball bat (back then it was kinetic dmg)
Currently my views on being a jedi have changed, i play a jedi to actually feel somewhat immersed and try to think that there is still a role play value left in this game. I have respec'd to master powers and have never really taken the time to deal with it in pvp because honestly healing is so powerful now that i feel very limited in combat. At some points i think of myself as a carebear however with the proper changes i'd jump back into the pvp arena with out a seconds thought.
How about you, your reasons for being jedi?
I answered this question last week... Why not go a couple pages back, and read all the replies there.

because in the jedi forums last week is never a couple pages back its more like a novel of pages back...
I became a Jedi because I am a helper. Always have been. I wanted to be the guy to help all the other people in the game conquer things that they couldnt do by themselves. I wanted to fight for the underdogs. Pretty much I just wanted to be a helper, and be the guy to come to the rescue and save the poor artisan from the nasty little kimos lol.
As of recently nothing like this can ever be again. I sorta lost interest in Jedi and almost never play it anymore. With how weak we have become Im only slightly better than a normal prof and the combat system is so stupid that it makes no difference if you help anyone now.
Either way. This question gets asked so often that quite frankly, I'm tired of answering it.
I don't feel we have to explain ourselves to anyone, especially tosomeone who sports the Sig like yours.

I was 6 when I saw the first star wars movie back in '77.
My pop took me back to see it 9 times. We stood in lines wrapped around the theater for hours sometimes.
How could I NOT want to be a jedi? hehe.
