Thread: Snare testing
Just thought I would post some of my testing results. My brother and I did some testing with the snares in a duel. This is not a thread for or against snares. It is just meant to present our findings.
I ama MDEF, 0444 Saber, 4000 Heal 3002 Enhancer
Brother is a Master carbine, Master BH, 4000 CM (Please note he is not an uber BH with uber equipment, just a good one with good equipment)
During the duel the biggest noticable thing was the snares not sticking. He has accuracy of 225. He was missinga lot of hisshots against me. Even when they hit they usually did not stick the snare. For the two snares that carbineers have, the short lasting one got on me twice. The 20 second one onlylanded once.
I am not placing judegement on the snare issue of wether itis good or bad. These are just the things I noticed. As a Master Defender I did notfind the snare effecting me very much. Every time the snare didland I was still close enough to root him before he could move out of range and kite me, or I had a snare on him myself.
****Please note:These are tests with ranged attacks, not CM debuffs. I do not know how might play out different.
Hmmm...no comments on our testing? Not even BH trolls? j/k
Anybody with more CM experience would be nice....
I really didn't think 225 Acc was that bad...tell me if I'm wrong...but valor...yikes...I never hit it seems
i notice my snares miss and so do my roots and im MLS/4402 enhancer/3040 defender/4000 healer.
Really?! We were talking about the BH snare.....I think I always hit with my Jedi Snare/root....maybe I'm not noticing I miss...

Not everyone has the defences that a M Def does so the test wasn't a great one.
I still prefered the old system because the chance of being snared untill you stop was little to none.
