Thread: Mpowers now??????

well i have been away for a couple days, reading the posts about the snare fixes and SL revamp. it sounds like they killed the MLS template with the roots and snares. so as a Mpowers weilder. is this tree the only way a jedi can survive now. cloak, run and if we do get snared use choke and lighting till our snare breaks and we can cloak? it really sounds like things are screwed up big time.

Cloak is good for now. Just try to get away before they hit you with a snare/root.

The less diverse our templates become, the easier it will be to completely nerf us in one or two steps. I, for one, don't advocate everyone switching to Powers or this is exactly what will happen.

The you haven't been keeping up with the latest insult from the Devs. Cloak is being nerfed to oblivion, and choke is now getting an 8% cost to the mind in addition the the action cost.Those are the only two skills in powers worth anything.

Choke has had a 10% mind cost for a couple of months now. The 8% mind cost will actually be a 20% reduction from the current values.
Cloak will have an auto snare applied on activation, but that probably won't happen until the Ranger Revamp hits. Until then I do expect to see them prevent you from activating cloak if you have any version of FR active.
