Can someone tell me if I am hunting in a group with a ch who is using a pet that is not grouped, will that give me vis?

until SOE decides to fix this, in the year 2025, lol, yes, ungrouped pets do give you vis. They take on the faction of their owner, therefore the PC/NPC faction visability rules apply.

I beg to differ,Ive ground several times with lower lvl ch's that had ungrouped pets and/or pets that couldnt be grouped bc the group was full and havent been hunted yet. Im pretty sure vehicles dont even cause vis b/c ive fought and used powers in front of thsoe as well and still no BH's for me.

if it has "Character" in the description when you hover your cursor over it's dot on the radar, it will give you visibility. CH pets are labelled as "Entity" and swoops are labelled as "Hover Vehicle"

exactly.
use your radar people. if it says character, it causes vis. if it doesn't say character, it doesn't cause vis. whoever started this rumor either is laughing a lot at this crap or did some really terrible testing.

Lol yea they prob tested it while dueling....but wait dont some people still think that you dont get vis for dueling if your group with your opponent...wrong you will get vis that way since you are attacking a "character" like the previous poster said go by the labeling on the map and youll be fine.
