Thread: today I saw for the real face of the ugly truth...

I didn't grind for long time today wanted to join a group usually meeting up at Agro Outpost in Dantooine. I was with my alt, He was 0430 medic / CM 1000 for healing purposes. Hell, why not join groups..
It was super fun with all tanking, healing tanks, healing myself because healer should be the tankbecause of stupid agro system against 15 pikets and all. I was the only non-Jedi in group, saber clashes and all, to be honest, it was super fun.
However, it had to end after4 lairs... (like what?40 minutes) because I had to go train 4000 CM, I would not dream of that much XP and600K of weapon xpI'm one people who supports group fun and group rewarding however this comes to me a little bit absurd. if I do, 16 lairs more, I am MCM that means.
Group XP is a bit overloaded, however, it should not be nerfed, grouping should be "prefered" for progression. But has to be cut down with a logical explanation so people prefers groups more than that. Being one of the most fun moments of my last 1 year, reminding me first days of the game, but seeing how I can master proffessions in "hours" makes me sad a bit. Even we don't notice, -not for jedi , out of commission- we consume proffessions so fast, so game getting killed slowly.
Just wanted to share to this lovely community.

yeah it is a bit disapointing takes the achievement out of it but that shock is rightly felt coming from a jedi who spent months on end trying to reach full temp
I donot actually want anyone pass through "irritating" paths I past, proffession grinding day & night, unlock, guardian 4444, then all back to Knight and etc. "Grinding" was not fun for me and I would never anyone experience a game that is not fun.
If there is a way to make grinding fun, that should be brainstormed and we elders actually should think if we want our fellow players really should past our discouraging, irritating sometimes disguasting path.Personally I don't want any player to feel tortured on grinding path, but I also don't want players to consume game so quickly and move on as well.
EDIT: My notes are not for Jedi proffession as well, but since we all have alt characters, regrind them and etc. This is a general game issue but I guess best Jedi can understand that.

question: were you one of the ones whining when they nerfed xp last patch then un-nerfed it. The group xp has been like this for some time, why did you just start whining about it??

make grinding fun... it would take a better mind than the one i have to come up with a easy fix to achieve that but its definitly somthing i should ponder about the next few days.
i love the achievement aspect of the game.. but it would be awsome if the achievement would take a less grueling process. Like Planet Side for example. I played that game (or quit it) a year ago. To advance its just like the FRS... every kill you make gives you xp and each kill is different battles are always unique theres never really a dull moment... some days are better than others but hey. You can still achieve quite a bit in that gameand the process to do it is very fun (this is why im very VERY tempted to play this game till the FRS comes
). I kinda wish SWG was a bit more like that
Point is faster approaching to main goal: TO BE MASTER QUICKLY because you are master or you are nothing with current skill sets. Look at all proffessions, even crafting to be honest is best seen example of all, being non-master is pointless. Even in Jedi same problem.

then the problem is with the skill sets, not the xp, be careful what you ask for, you are now griping about a totally different thing then you started with
XP is the way to main skill system to "Master" as it should be in every RPG game. I don't ask for anything, just discussing with those who can.
