I find this interesting because if these numbers are accurate and most of these people have not lied or padded their records these numbers seem to contridict all of the complaining on this forum. These numbers would suggest that if your a competent Jedi you should win 97% of your matches with bounty hunters. This makes it even harder for me to understand how so many people claim to be unable to beat MCM/MBH? WHO? Who is losing? Not many people according to these numbers. If your a Jedi with a losing record speak up. Let us know if only the successful Jedi posted on here, or if this is an accurate reflection of the general win to loss ratio for most of us. For me I'm 5-0 so these numbers match with mine.

I think it's because so many guys go for force run, cloak, supression, wound heals....and then forget the good stuff they are losing out on. A good MCM/MBH is a tough opponent, but
the right template and you will have a much better chance of winning. I grudgingly had to forgo having all the fun jedi stuff, the flashy moves, the fast speed etc....but the benefit was a template that stands up very well against a MCM/MBH. I have only died once in recent times, and that was because 2 came at me at the same time (pure bad luck on my part).....even then I lasted over 20 minutes until their combined 1100 damage per shot killed me.

It could be that a lot of the people struggling with BH are not posting their numbers. How many jedi with a win to loss record of like 0 to 6 are going to want to post about it? I can't imagine that's a great way to earn respect from fellow jedi on the boards. I'm new to jedi and haven't been hunted (yet), but I can imagine my record looking like that lol but I don't imagine it's something I'd likely stick in my sig.

This kind of poll will never be accurate. Of course all the jedi that have beaten bh many times and died few are going to post. But would a jedi that has say lost 10 won 10 feel confident in posting that? More likely they would be embarrassed and not post at all.

For sure template decisions will effect your ability to match up with different templates. Its just seems to me that if Jedi were really winning at a 97% success rate there would not be so much complaining. Some thing has to give either the numbers people gave are false/padded or they only represent a small segment of the Jedi population and those with losing records did not speak up. Of course another theory can be that the newbies that lose complain so much that it seems like everyone is complaining. Either way, if we can get some sort of accurate win/loss rate from a large number of people we can get a more accurate picture of the true state of Jedi Vs. BH and who truly has an advantage.

I dont see what the big deal is if you have a poor record? Who's honestly going to care or judge? Maybe some immature jerks, but people like that dont count anyway!

The only way to get even semi reliable numbers is to have an anonymous system. If people posting favorable numbers don't have a name attached than maybe they wouldn't be as inclined to pad them. If people with less than favorable numbers didn't have a name attatched maybe they'd speek up. Even in anonymous situations people tend to be a little generous with their input, but it is a little more reliable.

well since we really dont have the ability to do that we kind of have to operate on the honor system. If you need to lie about your digital Jedi's win loss ratio in a fictional universe I'm inclined to believe you were a deprived child.

Right, there is no way to do it anonymously short of hosting it on a webpage and having a link in the forum. I think a lot of people though probably would gloss over things when giving their numbers. Say, for example, one person thinks that "getting away" counts as a win since it's the BH jump to kill you. That person may have a 5-1 ration but they're running half the time while others only count killing the BH as a win. Also, some may not count certain losses because they "lag-locked" or the BH "exploited". There are a lot of situations where a person may report false information they believe is correct. Then you also have the sort who will just outright lie.
