hmm....im really not happy with powers right now....i was MLs/master def forever, and it was so much better....powers eats your force like nothing else, and the lack of defense against all the powered up and sliced guns out there....i can understand the force cost, but i wish the attacks where more devastating, especailly choke and lightning...and on top of that i cant regen while cloaked cuz im 2 busy healing fire and poison from the nice BHrs

dont mean to whine, but im watching Vader choke peeps on TV right now, and there not shooting back, or anything else for that matter....lol (and i know, SWG isnt the movies)

i would take higher costs or even longer warmups for powers specials to be more devastating....like lightning, maybe make it like last ditch from smuggler, so ud be close to death after using it, but it could be a duel ending move if timed right

everytime u see the emporer use choke, seems to take a big toll on him, but it pretty much leaves his target on the ground and worthless, even yoda got pwnd by lightning

Cloack is cloack. Its not such a powerfull ability that needs to be in master box or something. a jedi is a jedi and has to be able to do thinks like that. One of the reasons to grind 3M of jedi exp is to be able to do rare special cool things. I think jedi have a few ones but thats another discusion...

The fact is that cloack needs to be REPAIRED. That means avoid aggroing, avoid targeting (almost repaired), avoid attack. And that costs exacly 3M of jedi exp, no more.

The BH should not be able to target you while cloaked so his ability to apply CM attacks to youshould beconsidered an exploit.

Being hit by AOE's is another issue all together that gets confused with the CM attacks. I've no problem with AOE's hitting me while cloaked i do however hate CM's ability to tag me with non-aoe attacks.

As for ways to improve master powers: increase AOE damage, decrease timers significantly, rework Breach so it's useful, add a way for master powers to manage force aka channel for MP, Add a root, increase choke damage or make it bypass all...allll defenses. Maybe combine the last two add a root to choke.

In duels vs jedi a MLS should beat a master powers but in large scale combat MP should be feared, as it stands now MP doesn't perform the role of crowd control very well.

If you are cloaked and a CM attacks you, he is exploiting. CMs only have single-target attacks, and using single-target attacks on a cloaked Jedi (a "target" that you dont even have) is using a bug in the SWG command interpreter to gain an advantage. There are rumors of BHs already getting banned for this. If it happens to you, report the BH.

The same mechanism used by anyone to attack a cloaked jedi is sometimes used by the cloaked jedi to attack without de-cloaking...

not everyone does this but it IS a two-way street. .
