Thread: Is TOOW Anything More Than a Loot Farm?

Aside from the Nerfs coming with this joyous expansion, is there anything for the player base other than more loot farming?
Just curious.

I'll make a positive post even though I'm not sold on it:
It's visually astonishing! The expansion is ALL quest based and is the true definition of an adventure planet. The quests exist with LOTS AND LOTS of story driven content with some overlapping themes. The difficulty is likely to be in the "challenging" to "difficult" range and having a group of more then one player may be required as you progress through "some" story archs.
The _NEW_ crystalBuffs are AWESOME! They are similar to the focus crystal although they present a more usefull item. (in no way near the 3 day timer on the focus crystals - much much faster!)
I would rate the expansion, in playhours, 80-200 depending on the indivuall.

Loot farming as in how? If you mean camping a spawn for loot then you'll see none of this in the new expansion.
Everything is quest based and the rewards are pretty nice too.

i think they are asking if theres anything more to this expansion then just some cool loot

Well let's see here.. You don't automatically gain all the loot from simply buying the expansion and travelling to Mustafar. If you value things like enjoyment from completing story-drivenquests and other typesofquest/missionaccomplishment, then yes there IS more that just loot. I mean what else are you looking for other than that?

Oh, you'll see lots of it! The core of the gimick is based on Diablo2's HoradicCube.
