im just wondering cause im one of those post CU Jedi that doesnt want to spend 45 mill on a prem crystal 
can anyone give me a solid answer to this

yea..... jsut start crystal farming, i got a 111 -7 pearl the other day and it was good, i tuned a quality and itwas 62 -1.
Just ignore the quality of the pearl, dont buy any pre-cu pearls or crystals, and hope your lucky.

well, the blue frogs were giving em out, or so i heard, prem and flawless lol, i also heard they had the FRS but im more sure about the crystals and pearls. Id never pay that much for a crystal anyway... but then again with Master Powers/healer 4xxx/tkm why should i

the frs is because the devs forgot to turn off the FRS when they started up the beta

just to easily confirm:
No prems are not dropping, and no quest I've done have given them out. The frogs did, but then again they have before in the past. Also, as always, you get a message about visiting a shrine to start the knight trials, as per every TC build, however they are not in the game.
And everything I hunted.. krayts, NS, and the quests and mobs on mustafar, no prems/flawless. Just like it is on live. And no, no new robes have been discovered yet by testers. And no FRS either

Hah! You put too much faith in the developers running this game. They have no intent to allow players to become their best of the abilities. They woudl rather it take 3 years to max a character then be able to play it now.
You rcall the exp scheninigan? They nerfed the exp rates and EVERYONE went into an uproar!! That exp change was based on their devised business model for character advancement and subscriptions. Instead of allow for exp eanrings to extendbeyond 4 years to complete a Jedi they have impemented a loot system in the same fassion. Good pearls anyone????
Tunning 40 "Flawless" Karyt Pearls on TC2 had proven this. I were able to get 2 capped, and the average was around 100-115 min/max/ There were also a good hadnful of pearls which tuned below 100 and the lowest was 81/81 !! Aren't these supposed to be "Flaweless"!?!?! Do you know how long it will take a recently (as n last 5 months) Jedi to build a "working" lightsaber? More players will quit then subs wil be issued due SOE's incopotence.
At this rate this game will be long dead and there will be many may many character rewritest to balance the system which was balanced from the previous balance that created a new balacnce becasue players learned how to play the developers fugged up game which game them an unbalance to be ballanced !!
SWG is gone, get over it, don't buy the expansion and have fun.
