Thread: Anyone know what's up with healing? (healer issue)

Besides the fact that Enhancer can rez themselves, and Healer can't (Give them both the ability to rez others and themselves! Hell, give them a pheonix esper type move that rezzes everyone in 1 shot?)

My purpose of this post is to ask what's up with healing in terms of healing other people...

Currently when I hit "force heal" and have someone else targetted, it refuses to heal that person or has a huge delay.

Anyone know why this is? Baciacca?

This has caused the death of many in DWB and in group PVPing... Where did this delay come from, what's the problem? Everything else I do seems to be well timed and working normal, with the exception of a few macro jams, but that itself I blame on button mashing sometimes.

This healing delay is quite annoying... I'm not a master healer, but I know it is effecting my ability to help others effectively.

The delay doesn't effect my own character though, I have a macro laced to my mouse for heal self that works fine on time...

for some reason since the last patch, whenever i hit my healself macro it has a 4 - 6 second delay before the heal goes through, as opposed to when i hit a stim which is instant so its not lag.

I find it usefull to not have an auto attack set...seems to me like healing is a lot quicker that way...and use macros for healing so u dont heal others.

/forceheal self;

and

/forceinfusion self;

these are the ones i use and without an auto attack set its not too long of a delay as compared to before.

I have no auto attack set, and I have 2 seperate force heals. The one laced to my mouse, just for healing myself, and the regular force heal set on my bar. Problem when heal is used on others, it's not kicking in as fast as it used to...

No auto attack set here either and last couple/few days there has been something causing extreme dleay at times for any kind of heal I try; forceheal, forceaura and even stims. I hit a stim at just under half health (~1700 health)last night and another 3 seconds later I was on the ground...most annoying.

it actually heals them right away (as long as your timer is ready) and plays the animation several seconds later, just ignore the animation and move on.

hehe apparently you missed the part about "on the ground". This was no animation problem and the timer was ready, the heals are simply not activating correctly at times, it seems.

Ah, havent experienced it myself, PVped about 5 hours last night never had that problem, it could be lag or something server specific not sure, I HAVE noticied this problem with stimpacks however, its its damn annoying.
