ok started my jedi and i have been upgrading with what money i have..i have a 3rd gen. saber that i use to grind and it has a max dmg of 462..that sucks..i used crappy crystals. but all i could find..no i do have a 2nd gen saber and it has a max dmg of 485! wow..i used one good crystal that i just found and i bought a pearl. now my question is should i make a 3rd gen. w/the pearl i have or wait till i get all pearls? i still do fairly well w/the crap 3rd gen saber..but i read that we get to maintain our sabers (next patch?) so should i use the pearl or save it..??? thankyou my fellow experienced Jedi's

Up to you really.....
If u want the absolute best possible saber wait till u get all pearls. (my 4th generation all pearl saber is 814-1194|1.0 and its been repaired twice now with no problems).
If you want a very good saber use as many pearls as possible with a crystal or 2 thrown in there. (my 5th generation "half and half" saber is 1000-1476|2.5).

Personally, I have several different sabers for different reasons, one of them is all pearls, one a crystal "grind" saber in which only damage and speed matter, and the third is a force cost saber, in which the most important stat is low force cost, for spamming those specials in certain situations (certain PvP mostly).
I'd love to use my pearl saber for the PvP, but until the change for repairing comes in, I won't be doing that much anymore.

Ok, have made my saber with the best resources and the best tool and taken foods to increase assembly and experimental skills. My highest saber damage is 463 with pearls in it. What should I do? Spend credits on pearls and crystals? Kill krayts? It is a 4th gen too
Any suggestions would be great

all that is very helpfull to better saber crafting, if your in a player city that is a metropolis with exp bonus is another boost. also get a crafter apron with exp bonus like the one i have access to is plus 12 bonus to experimentation. do all that with your food and best machine avail with crafting tool in uber range puts you in medium to high 600s depending on resources

np, my saber is low 700 atm, still waiting on better crystals. i refuse to buy them and posibly risk paying high amount for a junk crystals after tunes

I wouldn't bother with my jedi, but I hunt them withmy rifleman and another rifleman/cm friend and we kill them in 6-10 minutes. We only take the juvies and canyons now. I wouldn't wanna be a melee player against em.

Went the other day. With a group of 4 we were taking them out in about 2 or 3 mins each. Also, since they changed Ancients to lvl 90, i can tank them on my pikeman/doc with ease.

You need to spend some credits on some sabers, or grind Krayt like a banshee in water.
Not trying to insult you because I know it can be very difficult/time consuming to get a decent saber now a days, but your saber is lacking big time. Mine sucks bad and its max damage is around 650 or so. You can definitely tell when you are fighting someone with a max damage saber of over 700.
