Thread: I just finished watching Episode III and I........

Got so excited about all the really fast, intense, fluid, and amazing jedi action that I went and played KOTOR.......b/c its way more like jedi than my jedi in this game...lol.........so sad but so true.

i was gonna play KOTOR 2 but then i realised i have the files missing, as i took away some as im about to reformat.

jedi in episodes 1-3 are not the jedi we play in this game, purely because the jedi do not exist as they do in episodes 4-6(which this game is set) where as kotor is set at the peak of the republic where the jedi were at their strongest.
Remind yourself of that and you wont' be disappointed, really i kinda wish they never made episodes 1-3 just so kids' would stop whining to be like the new breed of jedi.

Not really dude.
This game really has nothing in common with Star Wars aside from the overall story.
You give the people at SOEtoo muchcreditif you think they even thought aboutwhat you said "Ok guys, lets not make the jedi in this game like Episodes 1-3 purely because the jedi do not exist as they do in Episodes 4-6 which this game is set....."

jedi in time period when this game was set (minus the main characters from episodes 4-6 which can't be classified as the norm) are either people who are scounging to live on some back water planet, or people who are in touch with the force and don't even know it, there are no jedi out there who can walk through 1 storm trooper let alone 10 or 11 as our breed of jedi wish for.
Put it bluntly jedi are not all powerful in this time and age (as someone said soe probably didn't do this on purpose) and that it is portrayed in my belief they are more powerful than they should be.

watched it in a theater with my wife and 9 year old daughter...my wife gasped when anikan became darth vader...she yelled no, it cant be!....we both just looked at her and shook our heads.....even aboriginals in australia knew who darth vader was.....
