Thread: Path to FS *NOT* changing

Nowhere does it mention changes to the method of becoming Force Sensitive. It says changes to the method of becominga Jedi. The devs have always been clear that the two are very different things. Everyone here is overreacting.

The post was vague and unclear. so you can either take it as a change to opening the FS slot or change to the FS slot. The Devs havnt bothered to clarify yet so its all up in the air.

(It should also be noted that players who have put in work towards becoming a Jedi will not lose their effort. Some sort of recognition of players' efforts will be included in the new system.)

You're point? People like my friends who are nearly padawan etc. That is the path to Jedi. People like me are on the path to being Force Sensitive. Something Holo and Q-3PO were always clear on.

likely means that they are changing the jedi skill tree and so those with 4444 guardian for example would not be completely stiffed due to stylistic changes in the jedi tree ... what they said was very vague true but all you have to do is read a little bit into it to get the entire message

It has been agreed that the development team should revamp the Jedi system.(does not say FSCS unlocking system but JEDI system )

Hard to say for sure, well impossible really

...but they DO have separated the words FS and Jedi. Always been that way, we'll just have to see

I agree. They said nothing about changing HOW you unlock your FS slot, just that they were adding quests. I am assuming this means they are adding Jedi Quests in, so that killing 10 million creatures isnt hte only way to get Jedi XP. Mass murder doesnt seem to be a good way for a Jedi to get to master, IMO.

Just my 2 creds......

Aye, but included in the path to becoming a jedi is unlocking your Force Sensitive slot, and a large part of the 'Jedi system' is unlocking that same FSS.

I'dbet money that the ingredient to get your FSS is changing. It was statedwhile backthat it would be changed if alot of Jedi were being seen.

And it even states that

(It should also be noted that players who have put in work towards becoming a Jedi will not lose their effort. Some sort of recognition of players' efforts will be included in the new system.).

With the statement 'it should also be noted that players who have put work towards becoming a Jedi will not lose their effort' we can assume that all the Force Sensitives will not be hurt, as they will not lose any skills or Experience and so on. So why would they be recognized for someting they arn't going to lose? Where as our dear hologrinders will have grinded for nothing, but they are still gonna hopefully recieve a headstart as the statement clarifies.

Just my $.02

It did not say easier.... it said different, as in you wont have to change your character like you do now via holocrons. It may even be harder, but in a different way.

ONLY the things in bullet points are on test center and will be coming with publish 6. The rest of the changes are not coming right away. So if you want to be a Jedi now, you can continue what you are doing, if you want to wait for the changes, we do not have information on when it will actually be changed.

Looks pretty clear to me.

It's already been posted that the path to FS will be modified, with holocrons becoming useless.
