Thread: Any hybrids out there still?

Im not big into being uber or into pvping. I simply rp all my toons. im not very powerful being MBH/MLS/medic 0010, but its very fun. Im thinking of dropping to BH 4000/MLS/healer 4000, being that I only hunt NPC marks. Just wondering what others templates are that are hybrid.

If I had a second jedi, I'd try Master BH, Master Powers w/ novice defender and healer.

Im a MBH at heart, been one since a month after launch. I just cant bring myself to drop it, lol. Besides, Mara Jade was a MBH/MLS and was a very powerful foe. I just dont understand why SOE puts all the limits on this game. If you have the cert you should be able to wear it. I would love to have my MBH tag up with my BH armor on and equipting a LS.

I'm a hybrid. I didn't want to drop rifle since I've had it since I bought the game so I decided on ME 4000 heal 0040 defender and 4004 rifleman. It isn't very good in a pvp duel due to accuracy, but it is a lot of fun pve and in a support role pvp.
I hear rumors that they are going to make force powers only work when holding a lightsabler. That will be a sad day for me if it is true.

I think you should be able to use powers while holding anything, I mean come on the nightsisters can do saber throw with a power hammer O_o

I most certainly was. Me and a wookie (forgot his name) were the first 2 jedi on scylla, I recently transfered my toon to this server at the start of the new year since scylla's population was dwindling. September 29th, 2003 is when I made it. I was a full template not much after that. I had MBH/CH 4300 and could use a rancor, man I miss them days. It wasnt hard, just most got frustrated with the white con marks and such. I was on vacation so I grinded it out. I really thought the LLC line was the hardest being that it did hardly any dmg during that time since only one weaponsmith on the server could make it. BTW, I dont appreciate being called a liar when there are still a few around that remember me and was there when I made MBH.

The game launched like June 27, 2003. July 27th would be a month. August 27th would be 2 months......Sept 29th would be 3 months. So it took you 3 months, not one. By the way...Mara was not a BH. She was a Jedi serving as a Dark Hand to the Emperor and on a mission to track down Luke in the same fashion that Ben did with Jango Fett. After stopping her search for Luke, she was a smuggler. I never ready anything that ever refered to her as a Bounty Hunter.

Actually, you weren't. For those of us that were BH back then, we know that there weren't even a working Schematic for LLC's added to the game until about2.5 months after launch (I could be a few weeks off here, it was a long time ago). Considering that and a few other problems us original BH faced, it was impossible to make MBH a month after launch.
That said, I have no reason to doubt you have played since launch, or that you were one of the first MBH on your server. I just think you're a bit confused about the dates.

Ah, I am wrong on the dates, my bad. Sept was 3 months. Not sure what I was thinking. I have the dates in my calender, lol. Not sure how I got confused on that. My apologies, I was wronog, sry.

Wonder how Defender 4400/Healer 2000/Pistoleer 0004/MBH holds out. I coudl very easy switch to that template.

My friend is working on MBH/master defender/medic 0010 now.
But this template you stated sounds very fun. You would have to get rid of healer and get medic though if the changes go through. Just remors atm.

NP, and way to own-up. We all make mistakes, especially me, so no throwing rocks here
As for my hybrid experience: I tried MDef / MBH / Healer around the CU. It scared the @#$% out of Jedi when they saw the Aura, and no BH could touch me, but I couldn't do enough RS / RA to be a real threat to anyone. It was fun though
