Thread: Were not alone...

A couple of days ago I posted a thread on EQ2. (it got deleted)

I was saying how nice the expansion looked and how I was going to go back and activate my EQ2 account and get away from the madness that is the CU.

I activated my account and started to play. The game is even harder now and the grind is much worse. Solo game play is non existant. The game as a whole though is like comparing a cadillac to a pinto. Far superior in graphics and questing. But the grass isnt always greener as you know...

SOE didnt just CU SWG, they also CUed EQ2. People are very unhappy and the forums over there remind me of the early days of SWG just after they patched in the CU.

Lets all hope a NON SOE product that is worth playing is released soon...

If they rush from 50 to 60 in one week (which some did) the expansion would be pretty useless

But isnt that the wrong forum anyways?

EQ2 needed a CU because PvP was being added into the expansion so that had to be balanced.

Lets hope they dont destroy the game like they are doing with SWG.

Actually I prefer the CU over the old system by far. Many people love the CU but the majority of people wont post if they like it they will only post if they hate it.

The CU is fine. I also prefer it over the old system. The problem is after the CU they started the Nerf cycle. This cycle has yet to run its course.

Nerfs are needed sometimes. It seems though for every nerf they add something good in. Nerf cloak add new squadleader and ranger stuff. Next nerf we will hopefully get new smuggler stuff.

Well yeah I guess... If you want to be the reason for everyone else getting stuff the nerfing is great.

Nerf Jedi so other professions can get stuff is not my idea of a good nerf.

I too can enjoy the CU...I do wish they would leave the damn game alone though, I hate when some patch drastically changes the game...

I'll say this if the game was still like pre-cu I would bet more peopel would be gone and I know i would be gone also. If the game doesn't change it gets boring. I played the same jedi for a year pre-cu and i was just about to quit because it was just the same thing day in and out. Whenever the devs change something it gives me a reason to try something new or something new to fight.

People are complaining about nerfs in the last patch, and the upcoming patch.

People are posting about resists not working

People are posting calling Wolrds of Warcraft "Worlds of Error #132"

People are posting complaining about people calling 'first' on Developer posts, calling anyone that asks a question of the forum 'Noobs,' and disparaging people that flame and whine too much

People are posting that charging $20 for a character transfer is dumb

People are posting requesting nerfing of people farming ingame

Exactly what's so much better?
