Thread: Question about getting to Novice Saber

ok, now i thought I'd read up pleanty on a lot of this new jedi stuff but aparently i'm just totaly missing a very important issue here, and here i go.


I finished the padawan trials, i made a lightsaber, i read to get novice saber box first, i read to kill dire cats or quenkars, or whatever. but how the "heck" do i gain xp to get novice saber. i kill things with my lightsaber, i dont use specials, what am i missing. do i have to kill 10 before i start gaining xp, do i have to kill 5 to get 1 single xp point. do i have to jump on one leg right after a kill?


does it have to do with the dificulty of the creature, if they are too weak do you actually get no xp. do i have to talk to a "trainer" right after my last meditation in the padawn trials? if someone could fill me in i would be very happy, thank you

just hunt with your saber till your capped at 100k jedi xpand get all your novice boxes....easy

thats Pre-Cu bud. Get in an MO AOE Group

so if i hunt alone, and i hunt say..sludge panthers or something easy, i will never gain any xp?

i guess the problem i'm trying to figure out is why i am hunting things with my saber and not gaining any xp?

You have to kill things that are close to your level in order to gain any xp. Best bet is to find a group to leech off of. If training saber damage is like it was before the cu, you'll need a group

You'll never kill a level 80 creature with a training saber. Just get in a group and let the others do the work for you.
