u need some LS to be effective IMO, powers will kill force, and against jedi they have force shield and feedback, renders your force powers useless, so use a saber

If you want to be effective in a 1vs1 you will need atleast 1 line of saber.

well I myself have a very unorthodox template....

but having been a master of a few diff disaplines and constantly re grinding new combos....

Id say I agree with poster that said you need at least one line of LS

then from there Id recomend the 2 H tree ... cause it has armor break

also consider at least enhancer 2xxx for the root and FR1 to help stay close to that BH as he runs the other way

but with that said yes powers is very good force choke is very powerful as well as a nice ranged KD attack and stunn attacks and Lightning is always fun to use.

trick is balancing the rest of your sp between support skills and defensive bonus... try to at least get force aura and some healing in there too ...but as you see you start to become scattered... and as much as over specialization can hurt you so can underspecialization when it come to Force points and such

I guess Id say think real good about what being a Jedi meens to you in your mid and what you see and become that ..

I myself am a qui-gon gin fan... so I try to emmulate his disaplines most... FR ..KD and throw from powers... thick skinned and some saber...

im masterpowers temp and Im pretty good with this temp Just ask the imps hehe. I killed a master defender by myself. ....I have 0404 in ls but Im about to drop it all and get master enhance or some defender I never use it and its not good enough with just the 2 trees

my temp is 0404 ls 4403 enh 2000 master powers

Im think maybe getting 0040 in defender plus maybe getting 4000 heal.

you just have to decide LS is still on good unless your a master and then most people a LS speed capped and ACC capped so there u go

I have 3 boxes left to grind but what I basically have is the assassin temp except i ditched force armor for improved aura and I have to say that I enjoy my temp very much.

LS 0400, Heals 4000, Enhancer 4002, Powers 4444, Def 0040. Still have 2 boxes in meditation and the master powers box left.

It's definitely viable, but it's a radically different playstyle you'll have to adjust to.

Mpowers is one of those templates you gotta know what your doing or you'll get owned... i know a Mpowers and she knows what she's doing and can get a MLS' butt. The thingis MLS is more fordmg and not states but Mpowers is more for states and less for dmg. In Mpowers you'llneed to have Mpowers to be good then atmaster you'll have Breachand choke. Breach is great, it removes all their jedi buffs and usually the jediyour fighting won't notice so he'll be fighting you "naked" and even if he does notice he'll need to use force to redo his buffs. Choke is good too, i think it's the best dot ingame so it'll help you when you start unloading dmg. There are other skills like immediate, weaken, mindblast and a ranged KD, if you know how to use these together you can just KD and lightning him to death because of these.
