Template

Master Powers

Master Enhancer

Healer 4040

I love the idea of this template and seems to match my play style but I got a question about it, how would you suggest grinding it. What I mean by that is what order should I train the skills so I can grind fairly quick and also not die to every BH that comes along (I don't mean kill all the BH's just don't want to die to them all.) Currently, as you can see in my sig, I am MBH, MCM but should be done with my FS grind in the next phase. When I get through my padawan trials should I change to TKM for the inate armor? I have heard I should get novice saber even if I plan to drop it to help with grinding. Any help would be great.

I would get saber xx2x and keep that as long as possible first.

About the tka ... don't bother.

No replies yet? I'll try and help ya out even though I have no powers in my template, I do have some grinding experience.

First, get all Novice boxes for the added force power and regen. It litterally took me and hour or less in a nice group to get all the novices when I grinded. If you are anything like I was when I first started, visability was a big issue, even though group visability has been removed there are still people passing by or stopping to see all the jedi in action, as if you can't see that enough in Theed. Plus there are also people that disband from the group withen 32m of you, either they are some sort of greifer or just had a brain fart. So just try and stick with a trusted group of guildies or friends if possible, if not, hope for the best.

But now, The skills I would drop first are MBH and so on. Its my opinion that a good defense if always the best approach when you have no idea who, when and how your enemy will attack. Thats where MCM comes in. Your heals are handy and will keep you alive in the fight.

Now what Jedi skills to pick up now that you have all those novice boxes? Channel is number one (Enhancer 0002). The ability to fully regen your force bar in a few clicks is invaluable, particularly at the lower levels. Next in line is Lightning 2, for the AoE. That will let you to grind with a sweet AoE group when you are fortunate enough to find one. After that, I'd pick up a few goodies, like Force Run for getting around and maybe you can use paralyze from MCM and run away. When the going gets tough, you run away. There is nothing wrong with running. The loss of XP is reason enough to not stand and fight, particularly when the deck is stacked against you.

Then healing 4000, 1500 heals and a nice HoT will keep you alive, that coupled with MCM or whatever of MCM you have left will be powerful. After that, Finish the lightning tree to maxamize your damage. Then, Cloak is probably your next best bet for the extra tight situations, because now you are at the point where you will be losing hundreds of thousands of XP. After that, Force Speed 2 from Enhancer 3000 so you can strike as fast as possible, after all, this template is about controlling the battle in groups or doing huge amounts of damage over short periods of time. Stealth and speed are your biggest allies, I like to call templates like this that rely heavily on powers and enhancer, some have saber skills, the Jedi Ninja.

Once you have those, that is more or less the essentials I would say. Now it would be time to pick up things like a knockdown from Psychokinesses, Force Armor for the added defense, Force Meditate because downtime means less XP and intimidate for obvious reasons. Then just finish the rest as you see fit.

You're template should be a blast, enjoy it and don't let anyone rip on it because play style and fun are what matters not being teh uber 1337 at PvP. Even though this template should suit you just fine for PvP/E, there are always those that will knock you and say powers is broken.

Enjoy choke and stasis, you really could play the role of spoiler to some people who think that powers suck.

Remember this is just the path I would choose, you may know more about powers than I do, so maybe you can tweak this. Have fun.

as was stated, get sabers xx2xUntillyou get the xp forarea KD in Powers. I think at xxx4 it becomes area. from then on just grind your temp. as it stands now u get full xp just for hitting and with a 360 area attack you'll hit everything around u. I'm MFW/ME/Heal 4004 and i love it.

I'm MPow, MEnh, 4040 Heal. How to grind? Wow...good question.

FIrst. I would concentrate first on 4000 Pow, 4004 Enh, 4000 Heal, Nov LS, Nov Def. Use TKM for defense. I believe that is 250 SPs. Second.Train up to 4400 Powers and 4404 Enh. Dropping TKM as you get Force Armour. Third. Finish off Enhancer. Fourth. Finish off Powers. Fifth. Train 4040 Heal.

Just my thoughts. Good luck.

first off keep MCM as long as you can.

i dont agree with the getting 0/0/2/0 ls personally. Im more or less this temp but mpower menhancer 4/1/0/0 healer novice defender (dont ask y lol) But id personally get all the novices first off. That i sby far the best thing you can do. Than using novice ls (just default hit) get in a none AoE group (or you can but you wont get the full xp so kinda pointless) and hit each creature once. Do this till you get up to 2/0/0/0 powers and than get in a AoE group. Afte ryouve got that (which can be a lil slow but take sjust as long as getting to 0/0/2/0 ls and reduces risk of taking an aggro) id get channel. Than i would go after 2/0/0/0 enhancer for forcespeed/force suppression/force run 1 which can help you survive the bh's. Root than run and if you do fight force speed for the faster attacks. After you have those i would work on the healing a bit (least 2/0/0/0) since your gonna need to drop MCM eventually and youll want some healing for sure. After you get to that point its really up to you as what to grind.

I do want to say as a none Mpowers it can be very difficult to kill a bh. Choke and the extra lightning damage help very much. Knowning that i would grind to 2/2/0/2 enahncer before continueing to get more powers. but htis is how i would grind it

as stated, first think you want is an area attack. everyones saying 0020 ls, but if you have no ls in your temp and youre going mpoers, id do 2000 powers fisrt, area lightning will work just as fine id think?

I am surprised no one mentioned xx2x powers.. Force Intim is very valuable to spin groups as dmg output is lowered. Plus it does so little damage you will never take aggro. Right now im only 1xxx heal 2xx2 enh and xx2x powers but spin groups' tanks love to have me.

I hadn't thought of that. The area intimidate would be a great addition to an AoE group.
