are one hand/two hand/double sided LS only different in look? They all give jedi xp and even though there are one/two/double branches I think you can use all specials with any saber...
Is this correct?

I'm not 100% sure, but I have heard the Double Bladed Sabers do a little more damage, but you can use any saber skill with any saber. An example is that I use Saber Spin, which is from Double Bladed 2 with my Two-Handed Saber when I'm in an AOE group.

I have got better crafting results from Double Bladed.. the animations also look much better than 2H. 1H animtaions are pretty cool aswell tho
Yes all types of saber give Jedi Xp. So do all force powers.. there are only two types of xp a jedi can get to train in Jedi skills, Jedi XP and FRS XP (dont worry about this atm tho because the FRS is disabled
).

Before CU the sabers varied in damage much like fencer, swordsman, and pikeman do. 1h being weaker but faster and dbl being stronger but slower. The attacks were Saber based as well. Sinse CU they hae changed like this. Your saber is determined on your LS tech lvl and your resources quality. All attacks throughout the LS tree can be used with any saber. The only thing that really makes a saber better are your Pearls/Crystals.

Yep, of course I like the fact you see all these diffrent types of sabers now and not every single jedi and their mom running around with the polearm version its good to see diversity. Now if only they would come out with some more crystals so you dont only see Bane's and Sunrider's.
