Well if its jedi as a starter thats dumb. If its FS and you ahve to go thrugh willage who cares. I helped some people grind to full template and become FS witin 5 days of starting the game.

Well, this should all be on Test Center on Friday. I *highly* recommend everyone log in when it's time and test it for yourself with a new character. I'm thinking that this is what the Combat Upgrade SHOULD have been.

Creature Handlers and Bio-Engineers.. will be no more.

The other classes will be condensed.. one "medic" profession, one "entertainer" profession..

Classes are as follows:

Commando
Bounty Hunter
Officer
Trader
Spy
Smuggler
Medic
Entertainer

and Force Sensitive.

Yes, you'll be able to start as a Jedi.

Being able to start asForce Sensitive does not mean they can start as a Force Sensitive Jedi.

You wont be able to start as Jedi

Exactly, doesnt say anything about jedi, force sensitive ( at this system) simply forgoes the initial old man visit. thats it. Maybe it will change...and they will overhaul that part also. And piss some more veterans.

It seems that Jedi is a starter profession, "Force Sensitive". This would be a typical warrior/monk type class which will manifest Jedi like skills that increase in power until you finally achieve Jedi rank in the intermediate to high character level of the class. Undoubtedly multiple characters will be available on a single server so don't expect there to be jedi everywhere you look. Also Jedi will not be an alpha class but simply another type of combatant class meaning people will be motivated to play other classes too.

lol, just an educated guess! I don't think jedi will be the uber grind profession it is now just another combat class. Isn't that what the devs have been pushing us to for so long? I reckon a level 1 Force Sensitive class character will be precisely that, a character with some minor force abilities. At level 90 though (yes there are 90 levels in the new system) the Force Sensitive character will be distinctly a Jedi although its class will remain ostensibly Force Sensitive. Any other system just doesn't make any sense to me.
