I think you should take a deep breath and back up a little bit and think. There is no way the profession can get any worse.

This change is coming because Jedi is worthless and should NEVER be that way. It is coming because many core functions of the game have little to nothing to do with Star Wars.

If you take a deep breath I have a feeling us "Elder Jedi" will be very nice.

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

I am all about trying out something new. I understand many people do not like change, but itis not always bad. I would disagree that they can do nothing to make our porfession worse, because it can ALWAYS get worse. I have not seen anywhere that says the reason for the changes is that jedi suck now and they are trying to fix it, so that is wrong.

What i am upset about however is the timing of these changes. If you remember back when CU came out they mad a big deal about the fact that they had been planning and working on the changes for some ungodly amount of time. Now, assuming that they were being honest then, and i have no reason to believe otherwise, as the changes were on a HUGE scale, i would assume that they have been working on these changes for a long period of time. It bothers me that they have been working on these changes and conveniently failed to mention them until the day after the release of another expansion. This is a cheap tactic to get us all to spend money on the expansion and then say "oh, by the way, now that we have the nice influx of cash, we are gonna re-do the whole game in yet another effort to bring back old players that quit after CU so we get even more cash."

It is tactics like this that have so many players upset with SOE and their customer service, or as the case may be, their LACK of customer service.

Having said that, i will be around long enough for the new CU or whatever the hell they decide to call it, i will get the cheesy plaque that says "I survived the CU ..... again" and will get used to it. I just wish they would not keep all this stuff super secret until release, and i wish they would have a bit more consideration for the current players and not screw us around and make us spend money for a release to a game that will no longer exist in 3 weeks, its rude, and just cheap business practices.

yeah, because we get a crystal that gives us "a slight edge over newly created jedi" and FRS robes that we should all have anyway if they would bring the damn thing back, and a blue glowie ability(judgement reserved) **edit**?!!!
