Jedi will be able to choose any of the nine iconic new professions, including the Jedi profession. Regardless of a veteran Jedi’s (existing active Jedi characters prior to the introduction of the game enhancements) re-spec choice the character will gain items and abilities that will represent the original accomplishments achieved by that character. These include specifically, the ability to take on the transparent Blue form of an ascended Jedi, a special Robe that is endowed with protective properties, and an exclusive new lightsaber with a unique color that deals more damage. All of these new items are being given to existing Jedi characters in recognition for their past achievements.

Now that pisses me off. Why force us to all conform? We should get a special LS that does more damage, TRUE, but they shouldnt have to all be the same dam color. Thats stupid.

Now if they made it so Elder Jedi can pick any of the Named crystal colors, and I mean all of them, and new jedi limited to the regular colors. I think I'd go for that.

nice, i get a new saber with a pretty new color and get to destroy all my good pearls since they will now suck

A little more Clarity please....does this mean No matter the CL of the Jedi, that any Jedi traditionally unlocked will get these new items or only Jedi who have completed enough Jedi skills to be CL 80. Secondly, if it is CL 80, will a Jedi with 2 Elite prof's mastered and like 1 box of Jedi novice count as a CL 80 Jedi?

I don't see how this info explains anything about how sabers are powered, or constructed.

the icing on the cake. i do admit, still better than giving the rewards only to the CL 80 jedi, but ouch, 2 years for a robe, saber, and blue glowie. It is going to hurt, seeing a level 2 newb and i clash sabers, but ouch, this is going to hurt real bad...

You do realize that this means that more than likely all of our sabers will be the same damage right?Pearls and crystals go POOF.How angry is this going to make everyone?Everyone who spent huge amounts of credits, (or even worse huge amounts of their TIME getting their pearls), will be a little upset i would think.
Although i see some good things in their ideas they have presented I also feel the pain of a terrible losss of my time and the credits I have spent IG as well as the dollars in RL.
More than likey what we have to look forward to is destroyed professions and billions in wasted materials,weapons,armor and friends lost......again.
