All tests were run on Chimaera With my MLS/... Jedi character.

Environment

- Research Center Town

- 44.56 Weapon/General Crafting Station

- LightSaber +29 experimentation suit (giving a total of 12pt to experiment all Jedi items)

- 14.94 LS Crafting Tool (best available pre entertainer buffs on Chimaera)

- 15.00 LS Crafting Tool (best available post entertainer buffs on Chimaera)

- Food: Pyrollian Cake +15 assembly (help getting better results forthe first assembly roll when crafting an item)

- Drink:Bespin Port+25 experimentation (help getting better results for each experimentation click)

- Master Entertainer/Musician/Dancer/ID character for buffs

- Best Resources of the server

LS Crafting Tool (10pt is enough even if the suit gives 12pt)

- without buff: 14.94 efficiency

- with WeaponSmith buff: 14.94 efficiency

- withArtisan buff: 15.00 efficiency

LightSaber(s) (12pt can be used without maxing at all)

- without buff: "base stats","base ratio of amazing success"
- with WeaponSmith Buff: "base stats","base ratio of amazing success"

- with Artisan buff: "base stats","base ratio of amazing success"

Conclusion

- have to try other entertainer buff (doubt itmight work)
- LS crafting "buffed" is broken

It's funny. After I went ahead and got the artisan buff, and did mostly everything else on your list (except the research city), I noticed that the Amazing successes didn't come that much more often. As a former crafter pre cu, I was already up on pyrollian and bespin. I think they helped more. But the buff didn't really seem to help at all. It wasn't until I read your post that I would have thought of trying a ws buff. I didn't know that there was one. So right about now, I am not sure that the buffs are working.

The key to any crafting is mostly the resources for sure. So I would focus on getting those first. But all the extra's doesn't seem to take you much further than the resources.

The point is: the Artisan buff works when crafting a Lightsaber Crafting Tool. None of the buffs Itested work to enhance the LightSaber crafts.

i take it buffs didn't work then

What about the resource stat increase of 2%. Did you notice if that worked or not?

I had heard that research center bonus only applied to citizens, is this BS or truth.

1% from artisan works for tools only, 2% from WS doesn't work for anything at all

I also tested crafting a lightsaber with the WS buff and the stats come out exactly the same as without the buff. So no, we are not getting the 2% resource quality bonus.

What would you call 'Base Amazing Results'?

I haven't been getting ANY amazings lately. Well,I got ONE amazings in about 75 experiments. And my food is ackting like my drink, and goes away every time, instead of the port being used during an exp pt.

Are these new buffs supposed to be working for jedi? Tiggs states before that patch went in that buffs would not affect jedi or any non-crafting class. Just wondering if that has changed.
