A question on the quality of the resources you use. I have a good selection for making sabre's as I was a crafter but my duralloy lets me down. The OQ is only 698. If it was in the 900's would it make that much difference? All my other materials have good or very goods stats.

It will make a huge difference. You must get 900+ OQ to get the best saber.THe cap on OQ for duralloy steel is 1000. THis means your current steel is well less than desirable.

As a matter of fact, the best steel on your server is one of the following, see if you can find those from a WS or on a resource vendor. Put up a want to buy (WTB) post in your trade forums.

Acaw CD=639 OQ=987 SR=942 UT=987

Akoge CD=626 OQ=929 SR=998UT=929

Durede CD=609 OQ=970 SR=992 UT=990
