hello everyone, i've been thinking of slightly tweaking my template in the past months not that i don't like my current template but more as to being more effective in pvp.

With the recent findings about melee/ranged defense and finding out the the only stat that we need is melee defense since we use a melee weapon and our with that all our defense is based on our melee stats not ranged no matter with what they attack us, i was thinking of switching my defender part of my template from

def 4440 to 4044

i realize that by droping the ranged defense tree i lose +12 to inate armor which is really what is drawing me back, but by geting the "valor tree" can't remember the name now.. lol... i gain state defense/melee defense and +25 to block when valor is on.

so what do you guys think? 4440 or 4044?

you only need 4040 defender if your not going master, and defender is boring anyway

I have 4040 and it works fine, if you really want an extra tier 4,I guess I'd go with Valor only because I don't have the ranged tree and I'm fine without it.

Just remember one thing, no matter what tmeplate you go these days you still take a crap load of damage, you're better off having an offensive template then a defensive if you want too kill those hard core BH and hard core PvPers who just drain you down. You need too be aggressive because they are just staying passive-agressive until you run out of force, no point wasting all those skills on defence when you can't do anything on the offence.

ok, well i wanted valor just to piss bh even more with block.. but asside from that would you recomend i don't want FR2 or meditate.

MLS def 4440 enh 3002 heal 4000

I don't see anything wrong with your temp, it's well rounded and I use almost the same thing. Don't care if it's the FOTM it's whatever works best. Full offense might be something along the lines of a MLS/MEhn/xxxx

yeah i know, personaly i think it is pretty much perfect, And i gladly can say that i had that template before everyone was calling it the FOTM since it was sort of based to what my pre-cu would have been if i would have been able to finish it in time. my decision to have range defense was as a defense for the Mpower templates but since range def might as well be 0 if you have a melee weapon equiped i thought of changing it a bit to not waste a full tree.
