lol,

just a suggestion, but if jedi could put those wasted points into there template-like the rest of the "normal" universe, a lot of people would be satisfied. Just a thought.

How about SOE just makes them worth having by giving some skills with them.

Like granting the "Harvest Skill" with the survival tree.

no way, i find the extra points of ranged speed and accuracy invaluable.

as much as I'd like this.... it would create too much inbalance...

MLS, MDefender, 4/x/x/x healer, 4/x/x/2 Enhancer. Wouldbe godly unfortunately and people would whine, like they always do, and get us nerfed, further. I agree, the FS skills are useless, and hardly give us ANY boost.

thats what im talking about! Make them usefull instead of useless!

Too often players and the devs have a mindset that professions should be balanced with 1 on 1 pvp in mind. This mindset is ruining the game. The benchmark for balance should be determined by the role a profession plays in a group setting. As long as the current mindset continues we will never see uniqueness among the professions, nor will we ever see individuality within a given profession. We will never see the SWG universe expanded as the focus will only ever be balance pass after balance pass after balance pass.
