One-Hand Flurry 2 is great. I use one-hand 4th gen to grind. It goes much faster, imo, with the area attack instead of cone.

Fellow MLS, pls enlighten me on this:-
Whenever I use Dervish 2 with my 4th Generation LS (w/ 508dmg and 10fc), it seems that I could only hit one target at a time. Accordinly, does Dervish 2 cover a lot less area than Dervish 1 though with greater dmg?
In addition, Dervish 2 just hits too hard to allow any successful lair milking. Should I stick with Dervish 1 and Gen3 LS like in the past or Dervish 1 with my Gen 4 or Dervish 2 with my Gen 3?
Thx for your views in advance.

Dervish 2 is a CONE attack and Dervish is an area.
Imagine a triangle going forward from the center of your body outward in the direction you are facing...that is a cone attack.

Dervish is a circle around you... the center of the circle is you and the attack hits everything within about 10 meters around you or so.

Dervish2 = cone
Dervish1 = area
you will not cover the same area with dervish2, only the area directly in front of you...
Now, flurry2 = area, so I advice you too do as myself and grind everything after MLS with a 1handed saber.

Have just tried the one handed for a buff time and IMHO, a 3rd Generation Double Blade with Dervish 1 seems working better to me.
With four -9 crystals with dmg 43,46 &49, my force pool seems to have maintained in full all the time

dervish one does around the same dmg as flurry 2 but uses less force.

/agree
And doing dmg over 5k might result in damaging the lair before the spawn reaches its highest.

ah yes the good old days... lol
i remember that even with a gen 3 sometimes you would destroy the lair way to fast to even milk
