If people wanted to hold hands and run around doing everything in groups.
They would play EQ2.

Does anyone else find it ironic that as they increase AI to ensure that nothing can be soloed at the same time our friends lists are emptying at a proprotional rate?

Today I logged on, checked my list, 2 AFK, 1 Crafter, and a few CL 54 friends. My list has over 200 people...

Pre-CU this would not have been an issue. I could have just gone to the cool spots and at least acomplished something. (Granted at a slower pace.)

Today when I log on and see my people are not online I have no choice but to log out. We can't solo the things we used to which in essence removes content from many of us.

What happened to soloing as a viable profession, as a *gasp* jedi. Jedi are supposed to be hiding (right timeline enthusists?) and yet everything that is fun in the game requires 3+ people to tackle correctly. I was pretty sure that jedi handled things on their own or with their padawans.

I know they are trying to make the game more dynamic by increasing NPC AI but I believe it has the opposite effect as well, it has removed mid-high level content. Instead of adding more DWB style areas, they simply changed things that were soloable previously into 'new' content removing it from the solo person and mid level groups.... I can't believe we pay for this.

Yep. it sucks. we saw this same thing happen shortly after launch, once everyone found out how broken the game was, they all left. SW:G's been an on again off again ghost town ever since.

I aggree with the sentiments of the OP, but you should try some of the high end mobs.

The Black Suns are easier for me to solo now then before, with the exception of the assasins.

I haven't run around too much, yet; I've heard the Night Sisters are a bit insane...but in the case of Black Suns, some are actually more suited to soloing then before.
