It seems everyone has a different view on what gives Jedi Vis.

Anyone know what gives it?

How about?:

NPC Faction pets.

Ungrouped Pet

Grouped or Ungrouped Droids

Any NPC or Player not grouped

Some Jedi say these do give Vis some say they don't.

Anyone know for sure what does?

basicly for sure:

Any type of humanoid, npc and pc alike including faction pets (ungrouped) (refer to vis guide on vis % given per faction alignment), within 32m while using anything that adjusts your force.

Highly rumored: droids, including pets(ungrouped) and npc droids, as well as swoops/vehicles.

Basic pets are up for argument really, swoops kinda fall into this too actually, been some argument as of this lately. BUT it is highly assumed if you're grouped with whatever it is, it won't give vis. (too bad swoops can't group)

Do the following tests on something to find out if it gives vis:

1. Is it grouped with you?

If yes then it wont, otherwise go to 2.

2. Can you harvest it?

If yes then it wont, otherwise go to 3.

3. Basically if none of the above apply then it will give you vis. There are vague variations in how much vis u gain, but tbh any vis is bad till full temp.

Just my 2 cents.

Don't know about droids and swoops, but I do know they prevent cloaking the same as NPCs do and will drain force when cloaked.
