I don't understand why you are making comparisons to older games when this one has been out 2+ now. The wheel was set in motion a long time ago, PvP used to be fun, people used to enjoy their professions until they mastered them and learned that they were broken. Space is fun, I enjoy it, I know alot of people who do, usually the patient ones who take time to learn it and maximize their abilities.

Sorry but I'm gonna sit back and watch you get flamed to death, you didn't have a "rant" you just wrote a poor poem that isn't telling us anything we haven't heard before. I don't understand why you posted this.

I do not think he is getting flames.

Many of us have played KOTOR and the StarWars RPG. We know what Jedi could have been and should have been.

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

I don't understand why soe had to make jedi out of these stupid disciplines. clearly in the movies and popular video games (like kotor and jedi knight) dark jedi have force to health drains, lightning, chokes... light jedi have absorbs, heals, mind tricks... and all jedi share pushes, pulls, sensory things(premonition, insight) etc...

I don't understand why soe had to make space like they did, when clearly XvT was a great star wars space sim.

I don't understand why soe had to make a "HAM" system when they already had very succesfull MMOs that used a health/mana style system that had been tried and true.

I don't understand why soe had to invent a new pvp/conquest system, when they already had seen succesful examples in daoc and (maybe) planetside

I don't understand why soe had to create a completely new way of leveling up/skilling up, after having seen UO's very succesful skill system, and everquests very succesful level system, what made them decide to go with a completely static system with no room for expansion/growth.

I give sony a 9.5 for creating a brand new wheel for us to drive on, too bad that mofo is square.

/rant off

I will be playing DDO and BF2:SF.
/salute Bria and so long.
