Thread: ?? on how you guys (& DEVs) would feel about a New Jedi Prof. V1.6
Novice Lightsaber
Column1: 1-Handed LS
Column2: 2-Handed LS
Column 3: Double-Bladed LS
Column 4: (Instead of LS Technique) it could/would be Dual Wield, and from Tier 1 - Tier 4, the Jedi gets somewhat better at Dual Wielding..... or something along those lines
Lightsaber Master (Can succesfully Dual Wield (or begin a quest that would "Grant" the ability for a 2nd LS for the Left Hand) with both hands.... by that i mean, from Tier 1- 4 of Dual wield Column, the Jedi would gain "skill"for the Ability to Dual Wield, that way, if those who want to Dual Wield can take the quest, if those who don't won't have to, unless they fill like it)...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And the new prof. that cost0 SP
NoviceJedi Crafter(would be ONLY able to make Novice (newbie) LS; Initive Robes (unless you can think of something better); small or no MODs; some skill in LS Tech.
Column 1: Jedi Robes/Cloaks (Tier 1 - Padawan Robes; Tier 2 - Knight Robes; Tier 3 - Master Robes; Tier 4 - Consul(men/women) Robes(those that sit onthe Jedi Consul)
Column 2: Lightsaber Hilts (Teir 1 - 1-Handed LS; Tier 2 - 2-Handed LS; Tier 3 - Double-Bladed LS; Tier 4 - (Unsure yet... Need Imput)
Column 3: (Things to add to MODs to Jedi Robes) (Tier 1 - 4 Unsure yet... Need Imput)
Column 4: Lightsaber Techniques (Similar to Original "LS Techniques"... but with some changes, of course)
MasterJedi Crafter(would have some stuff added, of course)
Or something like that... That way, there can be more DifferentStylesof Lightsaber Hilts & Different (Color's/Styles) And the Robes/Cloaks can have different styles (so that our Wookie/Ithorian/Trandoshins don't feel left out) and colors (to fit the Player's choices)
and i hope that, that makes sense.... (I HOPE)

Seems like that however they get a good idea(s) for profession/game it turns out to be not good, that is all I can sum up for what is happening. So if they focus on the Jedi or some other profession I don't think it will be of any good anymore, since they seem not to listen to the players/correspondants at all.
That is just the feeling I get from this.

I like the idea, at least its smoething new to talk about!Maybe this or maybeput it in the crafting tree and....make the tree require crafting to advance in. I think that might work.
Though having an entire Jedi crafter discipline sounds kind of interesting and cool in a way. Would add alot of content and would make an alternative to Jedi fighting all the time.
1. Would take less time of course then a regular 15mill mastery
2. Would not allow use of any factories
3. Would limit the amount makable per given time period.
4. Craft only what your rank is "light dark"
5. Would take fewer skill points then the 8-8-6-4-2-1 mastery does, maybe somethign like 4-4-3-3-2-1

I think if this was set in the Episode 1-2 days I could see it being cool. Back when the Jedi Temple was full of trainees. But in our present timeline Jedi themselves are forced to be solo. While this isn't always reflected in-game the fact still remains. I think there should be some kind of personal way to aquire your own robe.. Perhaps getting all the required pieces from loot and quests as well as a schematic. And then crafting the item yourself. Basically a lot like saber crafting.. But different in that you're not just stocking up resources. You're out looting and receiving items from quests.
Lol.. what I'm trying to compare it to is the DWB and crafting Mando armor. You have to loot certain parts and get other parts from quests. Then you go somewhere secret/hostile and craft your own robe.
