Here's my view on this, I don't know what I'm talking about
The cooldown exploit allows you to do this:
1:00 Critical shot
1:01 Critical shot
1:02 Critical shot
1:03 Critical shot
1:04 Critical shot
I hope that paints it clearly for you, considering critical shot has a 6 second cooldown.

Wow smartass, that would be an issue for the BH forum then wouldn'tit, didn't you notice this is the Jedi forum, a speed issue here shouldn't pretain to the bounty hunter profession, I tried to explain an issue that many non jedi view as an exploit by jedi, what ever this thing is you're talking about, I have not heard of, or ever had such an exploit used against me, who says critical shot has a 6 second cool down? link me to your source... please or just get your head out of your ass

To the best of my knowledge the cooldown timer exploit has been fixed. Prior to Pub 24 I could heal / channel / use the same attack etc every 2 secs. I have tested all the methods to see if this exploit is still able to be done with 0 success. I have also been reviewing combat logs and have yet to see attacks such as Advanced Critical being used 3-4 times in 6 secs. I just hope there is not another method to bypass the timers that is not yetwidely known, because if there is, it will not be fixed until approx. March 2006.

Here's my view on this, I know what you're talking about, anyone with 4440 LS has 3 attacks with the same strength that hit 3 different target points on the body, body hit head hit and leg hit. all will do the same amount of damage assuming the armor of the person hit is the same on those 3 locations. ok when one attack is pressed, the use timer spins, taking up the combat time of specified by the weapon, with the addition of any buffs that effect the attack time. then the attack goes into a cool down before the attack can be reissued. next part. After the use timer has completed, the person is then allowed to begin a new action regardless of the cool down of the last attack, as that is simply to keep the same attack from being spammed. Ok, now think about this. If a person uses a Head hit, the use timer completes, they do a body hit, then the use timer for that attack begins, and the cooldown of the head hit is at this point spinning, slower than the use timer, but spinning still, now the person does the leg hit, the use timer spins, by this point the cooldown of the head hit has completed, and the head hit can then be used again, still keeping with the maximum use time, based on the speed of the weapon. A lot of people's sabers, especially ones with great pearls/crystals and pre CU sabers have speeds around 1.3 or one attack every 1.3 seconds, other professions have little to compare to this, since they do not have a number of attacks all with identical timers. and there is a reason that they cap speed at 1 second, that's because it's reachable, so yes, it is possilbe to hit extremely fast for a jedi due to the nature of our attacks. we get great speed, because our weapons are not nearly as powerful as any other profession at their greatest. My SL canreach 625 dps withhis pistol due to its speed, but because of my lack of attacks selection I can't utilize it like I can with my jedi. Not every thing you don't understand is an exploit.
