Jedi Archive

The nature required to be a jedi is that of compassion and patience. And when I speak of jedi, I mean those light jedi that have taken the robes of responsibility. Jedi that seek power for powers sake are dark jedi and i expect to complain about not being happy as power is a selfish issue.

But to those of you that claim to be true jedi in game, your resposibility is to defend the weak. If you leave because your powers are lessened or the grind to grueling then you abandon heroism. Being a defender and a hero is not easy. They must suffer the pains of change, persecusion and weaknesses. But the reward in your strength, is knowing you helped another become strong. This RPG of Jedi is not just about having fun. I know many Cl20s that can't find groups that will take them, they need people to help them. I have seen a few good people take them in. Jedi should be setting those kind of examples.

I too am unhappy with the boredom I feel during these times of change. I also have thought about moving to another game. I came close to leaving completly. But the incessant moans and whinesas if fromchildren wanting to be adults has convinced me to stay. I must stay to show my guild members what being a defender is all about.

And for those of you complaining about the state of jedi or the state of the game...goodbye. Everyone is complaining about there being too many jedi anyhow. This is a really good way of lowering the jedi population, get rid of the bad jedi and leave the truly virtuous ones or truly diabolical. Seperate the chaff from the wheat...
