I think people got a bit annoyed after all the promises Smedley made about communicating with the community after the exp nerf fiasco.

They are just paid employees of SOE. I doubt they have any final say in the direction the game takes, nerfs, expansions, etc. I feel very confident all the gamebreaking decisions are made at an executive level in SOE. Probably a Marketing executive or Accountant. The DEVs probably have very very little more input on the major game decisions than we do. Little to none! They are paid to execute the decisions made by a pencil pusher that is only concerned about SOE's profits. Probably even forbidden from posting on the forums under penalty of termination (unless approved by a "suit").

I am not advocating all the game decisions, just curious why everyone would be so continuously abusive topeople that probably have no authority at all. I'm sure there must be several places online to find the names of SOE executives that make the real decisions.

I can't imagine what it must be like to go in every day, do your job AS YOU'RE TOLD TO & have 10's of thousands of people writing hateful, often obscene comments about things you can't control.

I bet they drink a lot

This is why this whole night was out of Control but Garva's post was uncalled for, should have just deleted the post without comment and keep things business as usual. Tiggs made it worse instead of just closing down the forums for the night. she also posted a threat. and it spiraled out of control. both sides acted poorly and both sides are to blame. I suspect that some of the posts are going to get tempers flaring at SOE later today and instead of adressing the issues. and letting a cooler head prevail. it is going to be Backlash friday at SOE as they try to exact vengence on the jedi forums for what happened here tonight.

To SOE it did not have to be this way there was a easier way, Garva you incited this, and Tiggs instead of simply shutting down the Forums you made it worse. Let Cooler heads prevail from here on. Send warnings before banning and take the forums off line and clean them up. Lets not make this situation Worse, I for one Love this game regardless of its faults, i have many friends here and plan on staying until the server is shut off. lets work togather to bring a positive future to SWG.

I didn't find it funny when a moderator renamed "Shadowfire > all" thread to "PWNED".

I'm not even from Shadowfire! I just thought that it was very unprofessional.

GarVa has goneout of her way to deeply insult me and my "emotional" damage as well.
