Thanks for the advice. I took some time away from my computer while my newly bought copy of World of Warcraft was installing. Otherwise I mighta really been upset and posted something nasty.

I also took his advice... Age of Empires 3 is installing and I'm sure I will not be back in SWG before my account expires on November 1st.

I was kidding mostly. I keep it just in case I lose my mind and decide to go back. Probably won't happen but I retain my copy of EQ, DAOC, COH, and EQ2 as well just in case.

eq2 drove me up the wall, i got a couple buddies that kept trying to get me to play doac. but they eventually caved, and are playing wow now.

its just a better game,i was about floored when i first started training skills with my warrior. like oh sunder armor whats that, omg its armor break.

Meh..personally I found WoW to be one dimensional and boring after a while.

So far WoW seems very promising and I've heard nothing but great things from my friends who play it so should be fun. I played EQ for several years and found it to be a fairly decent and enjoyable game it just got old. I'm not sure what the deal is with this SWG team but I'd be hard-pressed to believe they could run a hot-dog stand successfully. I'm under the impression that the ONLY reason SWG has any customers at all is because it has the words "Star Wars" in it and they're just riding the coat-tails of the genre. Perhaps when the CSR team graduates highschool it will be a better game but that's hard to say.

If WoW had good graphics, these servers would already be shut down.

EQ and EQ2 are great games. WoW is based on an awesome concept, just needs tweaking. Only took me 2 months to get to level 50 and that's not hard grinding, but it is solo grinding. They need to tweak it a bit. Got bored with the game fairly quickly. If they would have balanced this game without the nerfing, then it would have been great after the CU. As it stands, I can't remove SWG from my station access and I'm having fun with EQ2 now, so I guess I can come bash the devs until they decide to change things around so I can remove my 2 SWG accounts from my station accounts. Only one I want active is this one, my jedi account, just on the off chance that I decide in 6 months to come back and see if they've removed their craniums from thier nether regions.
