I keep dumping money into expansions and yearly subscriptions, hoping one day this machine will work, but am I stupid or is there hope yet?

They gave hope to a lot of people by giving doubleXP and a free pass to Jedi basically, only to prolong subscriptions. As long as there is hope, most people will keep their subscriptions. Jedi are the safest customers because the grind is long (longer for some people, shorter for others) and it's tougher to give it up. They made possible for a lot of people to reach jedi (and that includes me) and it worked. I did cancel my subscriptions after the CU but I enabled it again because I was handed over Jedi on a silver platter.

Yesterday, I finished my grind on my alt (TK/Swords/Doc4000) and I can take more damage, do more damage and heal better than with my Jedi... all of which with a weapon I got from a 15 minute quest on Kash.

Anyways, point is, jedi wasn't ment to make customers happy, it was ment to generate more revenue and it worked.
