Ok, Im not a jedi, but getting close to it. I was doing the commander quest with a few others last night, one of which was a squad leader, who did all the new buffs. With the SL buffs, I would hit for approx 4.2k damage when I scored a critical hit, which was fairly often. My weapon maxes out at 1040 without these buffs.

If the ratio stays the same, the new mbh rifle that comes out tomorow should be able to hit jedi for around 5000 damage, ifnot a little more. This is getting worse and worse every day.

Easy solution in my opinion: Disable SL Buffs in PvP...they could actually keep the same strength in PvE then.

NGE satisfaction meter.

During PvP last night on lowca, a master squad leader/rifleman in our group hit someone for 6300. Needless to say they went down in one hit.

Wouldn't Jedi have the same benefits then? I think that would be sweet for PVE, but being a one-shot kill by a BH would kinda sorta...you know...suck

I had improved aura and imp force armor on with +200 range defense food and I still got one hit incapped by a BH yesterday.

jedi might be able to use this if they happen to be grinding and in a group with a SL who has buffed them prior to the BH attack. The advantage is still with the BH as many are droping CM for SL. They will ALWAYS be buffed with these insane buffs before they attack the jedi.

I'm reactivating my second account on the first and regrinding that acct's temp to SL just for the abilities.

well i think that a SL cannot buff himself. but on that note what would stop MBH/SL guys to form a group to buff each other then go solo hunt there jedi while buffed..

Can't they actually buff themselves with a droid or pet grouped?

do NOT ask to remove the sl buff for pvp... NO!!!! ask to bring us back saber block 85% at master sabers.
