Though I doubt most of you have noticed, but what has actually happened is the devs have completely nerfed Snare effects, and electrolyte drain.

While jedi with forcerun were immune to it, those without FR and normal profs have been at great risk from MCM snares since CU.

Introducing Rancor aid has destroyed MCM perma snare (and it clears normal snares too, bug or not, who knows?).

So while jedi with FR need to manage another drink (not too hard reallly) MCM have found one of their abilities nerfed into nothing.

Thank god.

Rancor Aid does NOT clear all snares.

Good to know. Hopefully all of the overpowered, yet still whining, melee' people stop crying.

Sorry to ask such a stupid question but I have yet to purchase any rancor aid. Do you take it when you are snared or before you are snared? Just something I would like to know before I have to fight a BH that keeps snaring me.

Tested and you are incorrect. Most likely the snare was short and just appeared to drop at the same time. It only works on the CM skill.

Are you sure about FS immunity? I was testing things last night with a MBH / MCM friend and he hit me with everything he had in the store. If I went any slower, I'd be crawling on my hands and knees. I don't recall specifically seeing a snare. Does the -45 speed debuff affect movement as well?

LOL...conflicting reports...

So Rancor-Aid ONLY works against the CM snare? Electrolyte Drain specifically?

Thank you, Sir

At least I know now. I hadn't actually tried it out yet, but I was hearing a lot of different reports on how it worked. Kind of depressing, but I guess it's better than nothing.
