Jedi Archive

I was thinking about this last night and im sure that all of you have thought about it at least once. Once created, you have a brand new character, sensitive to the force, but still a n00b. Now to actually survive for more than a few months, and to be able to actually track down some way of learning the jedi art. You must take on another profession, to serve as both a way of defending yourself and of a way to make a bit of money.

Personally I was thinking of a Teras Kasi master. I mean you look cool, you can walk around in any citywith out any weapons and no one will even notice. Plus you will be a bada55 in combat and if you must, you could take out your lightsaber once you figured out how to make it. If you have looked at the teras kasi line, you have meditate, force of will and such. I mean these alone fit with a jedi. I think it would be awesome to say "You mayhave bested me in hand to hand combat.. now let us see who shall win the next battle.." as you take out your lightsaber.

What will the rest of you be?

A dancer possibly a dancer musician. The last thing I am going to do is take my brand new FS character out and put him in dangers way. Once I master Dancer and Musician then I was thinking of going for Miner. A jedi miner would be a great boon able to move ore around with your mind.

I was thinking perhaps a scout or ranger, there will be nothing better than to be able to hold your own in the wilderness away from civilization (because that's where you will be when your hiding) also that way you won't aggro those vicious creatures that you can't handle alone (then again, Jedi's can handle a lot)

Dancer/Musician sounds nice, you would also need some marksman experience because (every class has marksman experience and usually a blaster is a secondary weapon)

You could also shoot for creature tamer/artisian (to make vehicles to move around with)

Image Designer (to change your appearance so when your found out to be a jedi, you can change your hair and add highlights)

Smuggler??? (Star Wars Episode VII, the life of Prince Han Solo Jr., son of Leia Solo)

Just a few thoughts and ideas

From what I gather, the permadeath won't be an issue until you actually become a Jedi. That is, presumably it will be implemented a profession tree. Until you make "novice Jedi", I'd bet your guy behaves just like normal in terms of death. Of course, if all you can do is fight, once you make Jedi, it may get sticky

Oh, thats an easy question. Hair Stylest, all the way to Jedi Master!

I think I'll be a scout. Easy to survive. Or maybe a medic. A jedi medic....at least until I can become a dark jedi master...and kill...and kill and kill...ha ha ha.

Teras Kasi Artist Hands down, How great would it be to be able to not only hold your own without a lightsaber, but for Roleplaying purposes. The Teras Kasi Created thier art to defend against the Jedi, as a TKA Jedi It would be the best of both worlds, you could meditate and throw things with your mind, it would be insane

TKA Is going to be my first Character anyways
