That is a lightsaber holder. It is a light filmy plastic that easily protects the pocket from any lightsaber that accidentally ignites. They make entertainer clothes out of the same material.

Tiggs kept telling him to pass. He ate some pikatta pie instead of cake, or perhaps it was the salt on his margarita.
