Thread: Simple solution to stop griefing revisited
All they need to do is make full documentation of the game available and make a section that covers Jedi and all the issues.
What you suggest is really covered by the EULA anyway, and SOE is good at throwing that in peep's faces.
Besides, if SOE tried to program something like that, it would probably cause all Jedi to revert to novice boxes.

or they could just change it so there is no more forced pvp, which is the solution you will see.
the ppl that have jedi have changed, the game has changed, the forced pvp needs to change.
the first crop of jedi were the powergamers, uber types, because that's what it took. now there are more ppl who just wnat to be a jedi and go kill nightsisters or some other hihg end npc and don't care at all about pvp. just like pvp was the envisioned end game at launch, that didn't happen, and this is the last legacy of that failed vision.

Won't say much, but I know this is a very interesting find indeed.
this is from a post 2 days ago
you are not a jedi don't try to make changes to something you don't know about![]()

It is basically saying the same thing. All this does is set that aggreement in stone, so to speak.
Wouldn't make any difference. People that are going to gripe are going to gripe no matter. Only thing that would change is the now-standard response from "You knew what you were getting into" to "You clicked the three boxes".
Gamers-in general-are the biggest whiners on the planet.
hows about a cool down on missions of a week for each MBH. so no MBH can take the same mission within 1 week period.
ill be all for it that would stop me seeing the same sploiting faces over n over.
I know a simpler solution.
Don't become a Jedi if you don't want to be hunted by BH's.
Those crying it's greifing or harrassment are just a bunch of carebears that IMO should stick to playing a single player game or one with NO PVP like the PVE Servers of WOW or even EQ 2.
There are other professions in this game that they can play where they can go about their business without any form of PVP interaction. If they want to go Jedi well then they need to accept the facts that they will be hunted as the mechanics of the BH vs Jedi system allow.
Jedi being hunted by BH's was by design and those crying about it well either deal with it or quit.
However if SOE decides to adhere to those who want to be a part of PVE only and do implement the choice it would have to be permanent. Those Jedi that make that choice could never become SF or even enter into the FRS as like their choice they only want it for PVE. The only way they would be able to change this status would be a complete surrendering of all Jedi skills and XP accumulated.

well, since there is no way to determine the marks name from the terminals, then it would be safe to say, that outside luck, that anyone bounty hunter will get the same mission over and over. mbh's are eligible to hunt players. you probably see the same mbh's because quite frankly, only a handful of bh's are hunting jedi.
let's not get into the exploiting game. both sides are guilty as sin of doing it. don't throw bricks in glass houses.
