we protested and petitioned....just goes to show soe doesn't care about their customers as much as you thought....CU isn't bad..but i believe most people prefer pre-cu combat..it just needed to be tweaked..i do like the new icons though..

ok what if a year ago SOE had said we're gonna remove our current combat system and replace it with an EQ2/WoW type system,what would you have said?..i have a feeling there would have been an uproar and many attempts to stop it from happening and maybe just maybe we wouldnt be stuck with this really boring root/snare/cooldown timer system..SOE really needs to communicate with its customers more so we have some input in things,and so we know the direction they're taking us.

There was an uproar, everyone was against the new system, but SoE doesnt care. Remember what happend on Bria? They made the server Crash the day before the CU cause everyone gathered in Theed saying no to the CU. Spamming the forums saying no to the CU.
I usually dont do this, but...
SOE DOESNT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im not talking about the uproar when people saw what SOE had made for us in TC,by that point it was too late,they had spent the time and money and were gonna implement the system come hell or high water..i mean they shoulda told us they were gonna make the system like it is now so we could told em to ram it before they even coded it..they need to communicate with us more to prevent future things like this happening,providing the game is around long enough for something else like this to happen

Now if ya said a year ago instead of 6 months ago when the Test Center had the CU on it you might get answers to what is not historical fact. Historical fact is that many players that posted on the petition forum did not want the CU back in April of 2005.
