I've decided to go

4440 Defender

3002 Enhancer

4000 Healer.

Now I ask from those who tried it - did it work out for you? If not, what were the main problems?

I know I could get a lot more armor with force armor, but, eh...I just like defender better...plus I want to be able to tank a few things if I have to and not burn all my force with FA. Plus if they ever fix melee/ranged defense, the ranged will come in handy.

3402enh pwns 4440def IMHO, but depends what u want to do

i can take out a 4440def one on one, but against bh's and my FA soakin up the dmage i lose force faster

they r equal in pvp pretty much, i tank more than 4440's but its a good temp and you wont have a problem really

but another sweet one i hear is 4044def, just a side-note

dont make me beat u with my flashlight

Hrm...anyone else? Preferably one that's been 4440 Def.

I have had both and i honestly think that Def 4040 +fa 2 is far better defence wise in pvp and pve (I can tank a lair of lvl 82 pikets easier when i had def 4040 +fa2 than with def 4440 and force wasn't that much of a issue i just had a channel macro set for every min then it kept right up there)..

I do have a 21 FC saber with 650ish Dmg and if i wish can have it at 16Fc with 630ish dmg.

Against bh i found that its best not to have fa up as it does eat your force but i never lost to ANY bh with both templates..

As a overall i prefer the Def 4040 +fa 2 but hey everyone is different i know peeps that swear by Def 4440 and won't change it for the world..

But its personal preference in figure crunching with def 4440 you have 54 innate armour, with def 4040 +fa2 you have 82 innate(yup thats12 more than a master def and gives you the same defence as 8k resist armour), That with aura is nice.

But hey its your call do as think is best suited to your equipment and abilitys, hope this info helps your decision.
