Thread: Deep Breath... It can't be that bad...

I have something to admit, I hated the CU. I protested, I told my friends to not buy the game etc.


Then I read this today. And something wonderful happened. I didn't get upset. I didn't cry, scream, make vein threats.


I actually thought about it, it MIGHT be pretty cool. I smiled. Granted it could suck, but it can only be better than this. It has to be if they are changing it again and risking the fate of the game.



My reasoning:


Pre-CU. I loved the system, there were bugs and things that needed to be balanced but it was Fun. Losing that really hurt.


Post- CU. I'm not that big of a fan of this, it was growing on me but I wasn't having fun. The hope of something else really makes me happy, even giddy.




It got to the point that my bh was more fun to play than my jedi. Thats really sad in a star wars game.


This might make the game fun again, all I have to say is why not?




The sky isn't falling.... yet. Its a good idea on paper, lets see on Friday if the implementation of it is worth our money. I really hope it is

I am going to give it a chance. Not one as big or as long as I did this CU, but still a chance. I think pulling the plug on alot of professions hurt, I dont know why the just didnt combine them. But, we can in now way change whats coming, I just hope it doesnt get any worse....

Seems to make sense. They get integrated into the professions. If you are a bounty hunter, then maybe you are good with a specific weapon, maybe with all of them since speed is no longer and issue.


That sounds pretty cool I mean I might pick up a carbine one day and a pistol or rifle another without having to regrind, choice is good.

im gonna give it an honest 60 day trial period to see how i and all my friends like it, i got upset when i logged and had it dropped on me but after reading about it, i am read to try it, and see if it can bring this game back from the brink

I'm not saying its easy.


In fact it might be more difficult. If everyone is the same then skills or luck is what wins you fights...


Being able to wield a weapon without grinding that prof doesn't make the game easy...
